• Dr. Tim Wong DDS is a full time dental practitioner, educator, and dental industry consultant in Los Angeles and Orange County. After graduation from USC, he continued to be involved with local community health events with non-profit groups, participating as an active member of the ADA, CDA, Pre-Fellow at Academy of General Dentistry, and CDA Delegate at San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. He envisions greater involvement between the members of the dental society and the general public via outreach and educational seminars. He is committed to expand his knowledge on current health issues that are significant to vulnerable population groups, while applying that knowledge to guide his patients toward better oral and dental health.

Biosketch

Dr. Bo Yu practices general dentistry including cosmetic and implant dentistry in the Greater Los Angeles area, after an 8-year tenure as Assistant Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Section of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Yu received his DDS with honors in 2011, and PhD in Oral Biology in 2014 both from the UCLA School of Dentistry. After joining as a full-time faculty in 2016, he served as the Director of Preclinical Education, and Director of Collaborative Research and Innovations for Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Yu has published over 30 journal articles and book chapters, and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He was voted by the students at UCLA as the most impactful Restorative faculty in 2020, 2023 and 2024. Dr. Yu has also been serving as an examiner for the CDCA-WREB-CITA, the agency to administer the national dental licensure examination. He is grateful that an academic career allowed him to discover his passion in digital dentistry, education and leadership training. He is passionate about delivering patient-centered, comprehensive care for his patients, with the latest digital technologies and in a comfortable atmosphere.
